Hi Lyssa, I am glad you found us. There are many here who want to be supportive of you. Keep coming back for support, questions, et cetera. I know you have had a rough time and I hope you are able to find some comfort and some answers.
I just took a closer look at your wall and note you are from Mansfield, OH. My husband grew up in Newark, OH. I am a southern girl- born and bred so only know a little bit of Ohio from my visits there. He has quite about of family in the southeastern/eastern portion of the state.
Again, welcome to the site. I know it's not a place any of us want to need, but we are glad it is here for us and you.

I am so sorry you are dealing with so much pain and no support. Having had tnbc, I totally understand the fear of recurrence. If you haven't yet, you probably need to change doctors immediately and find someone who is compassionate. As far as the lawsuit, I worked in law offices for 35+ years. Although your chances of winning are slim, it may help your self-confidence and give the medical field a "what for." Please keep us updated.

Lyssa, welcome to this site. This is a good place to address your concerns because so many of us here have shared experience, and we hear you! Unfortunately, this site is undergoing some changes with a new moderator and things are not responding for us in the same way. It used to be you could post a question under the heading of QUESTIONS and it would show up there, for everyone to see. Now our questions and experiences only seem to appear on our personal walls. We can access those questions if we are notified of them through a Daily Digest, but even that has not been consistent. Please keep coming here, and have patience with us. We are all trying to encourage the new moderator to fix these glitches so we can, more easily, talk to each other.

Welcome from AZ! I was diagnosed with tnbc in 2018 and went through a full year of treatment. Since then, so far I am clear! It is a tough road but you can get through this. Best wishes to you.

I had a massive infection that started in the area of the lymphadenectomy, I had additional surgery that left me with a deep ugly scar, lots of antibiotics to get me to chemo. I am lucky in that I am still here. I did not have reconstruction. Reconstruction would have been ideal, feelings of wholeness addressed but do to extensive second surgery that would require moving a chunk of me to my chest I felt it best to just leave my poor chest as is. We are the cancer patients, we are struggling to survive, to be good patients, to receive and share very personal information. I am sorry your relationships with your care team did not give you a needed sense of being heard.

Sorry you're wasting your time with a lawsuit. you're not going to win. Just the bigger people with names and money win.Sorry for being negative ,but I've been done that road on things. We're considered low class.
