Hi Lynne,
Beginning to feel better since my surgery putting in two ports on Tuesday this week . Was pretty tender & sore & taking Vicodin for the pain caused nausea & vomiting. I go to the dr. Tomorrow to see if everything is mending ok. Went to my orthopedic surgeon for my broken ankle today & got my cast taken off. It's been 5 weeks since I broke it, and now I have a walking boot & will start physical therapy as soon as I can get an appt. Will resume chemo a week from Thursday.0February 2014 -

Yes. Finished final chemo yesterday. I'm 2C serous uterine. We know what that "C" means. Try not to dwell on it but it's there in the back of mind always. Think more so since not going to be in treatment.0January 2014

Lynne-I-am, will you tell me more about IP chemo? How long is it infused? Dwell time or absorbed?0January 2014

Thank you so much for your note, Lynne. I'm glad you've found this site to be helpful. I have no friends who truly understand what our family is going through since my mom's diagnosis. I'm glad to be here with others who do "get it." Sending you love and healing hugs!0December 2013

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. I was stage IIIc, possible stage IV fallopian tube cancer, and I am now 9 1/2 years out. I had 8 rounds of chemo and surgery, I also changed my diet, reduced my stress, used imagery...anything that could make a difference. I believe we have to do anything within our control to help the docs.0November 2013
