Thank you so much for the kind words of support. Quite frankly, I figured I had no more than a year to live and it's hard to start chemo with such a defeatist attitude. Just know someone in a similar situation is still here and still fighting helps.0December 2013

Thank you so very much for your kind and positive words. Yes, I have learned that attitude is everything. Reading your story and postings has been encouraging. I begin IMRT on 09/23 for 51/2 weeks. Chemo will follow radiation. God is control and I am trusting in His promises!0September 2013

I am very new to this site. I was diagnosed on 08/02/13 with cervical cancer that had metastasized to my right ovary. Initial surgery was for a suspected/potential ovarian cycst/carcinoma. Initial pathology while in the OR indicated borderline malignancy tumor. Had total hysterectomy. Further pathology revealed endocervical adenocarcinoma. Was not detected on recent pap smear b/c there was no external cervical involvement. Lymph nodes removed during surgery were negative, pelvic washings were negative. Going for PET scan tomorrow 08/19/13. Trying to remain positive and find blessings in each day! Any advice from anyone is greatly appreciated.0August 2013

Hello Lirasgirl 33! I finished treatment for CC Stage 2b in December and just had my first follow up scans. I had chemo, radiation and internal radiation (brachytherapy). I read your journey and found a lot of similarities to my own. I pray that you are doing well and hanging in there!0March 2013

Hello! Thank you for messaging me! Hope you are doing well! This is my only place where I can talk with others going thru the same thing. Family and friends are supportive, however, they just don't have the same understanding. This whole ordeal seems surreal to me, like a bad dream. It consumes my entire thoughts 24hrs a day! Today I finished my last external rad. treatment. I have one my chemo next week. On monday, i start my internal rad treatments. The nausea, fatigue, and diahrreah are kicking my butt! Cancer really sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0February 2013
