Good morning. Another newbie. I have sclc stage IV extensive and am so happy that others with the same diagnosis are available. My cancer is in both lungs lymph nodes around my aorta liver and some bone involvement. I hopefully will be able to complete my first round of chemo (carboplatin & etoposide). Sounds like you have endured a lot. Hang in there. Beth0June 2013

Hello fellow Ohioan. I'm over in Columbus & grew up in Dayton. Welcome to What Next. There are lots of great people here. If you have any questions, please use the question tab above -- that way, the entire network will have ready access & you'll get a quicker response. I'm glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that led you here. Congrats on the shrinkage to the point of non-existance on the masses and spots. May it stay that way!0May 2013

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations and go to our Questions page www.whatnext.com/questions and introduce yourself and ask your first question to get the conversation started.
Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.
https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/lung-cancer
There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend0May 2013 -
Re; Dearest friend,
My name is Nanthana Chansithipongse, I want to donate part of what I have to
the needy through. You could be surprised why I picked you. But someone has
to do it. I have been diagonalized with Breast and Blood disease which has
defiled all forms of medical treatment and I have been told by my doctor
that my days are numbered on earth.
I have been touched to donate from what I have made from this World to
charity through you for the good work of humanity, rather than allow my
relatives to use my hard earned funds inappropriately after my death. Please
email me favourmicheal24@ymail.com with your contact information such as Your Full Names, Address,
Direct Telephone number and direct email address so I can tell you what you
need to do and also give you more details about my intentions.
Best Regards.
