Hi Linda, Had second chemo yesterday and so far, so good. Will go for Nulasta shot (white blood cell pick-er-upper) tomorrow. It was after that last time that I had a few bad days so am hoping for better luck this time. Shaved my head and am wearing scarves/hats for the most part. Did pick up a wig but that will only be for when I really need to look "normal". Hope the radiation is going ok and that some of the fatique is lifting. I have to admit that that is also one of the toughest parts of the chemo. Maybe just that we are a bit older. I don't know but even going up and down our stairwell is a whole new experience.
    Take good care.
    Mary Beth
It will be nice when the humidity lifts tomorrow.

I was diagnosed 3 months ago. Female, Age 55. Stage 1, Her2 Negative; ER Negative; PR Negative. I'm currently in treatment, chemo and then radiation, in CA. When treatment is completed I plan to move to Williamsville, NY where my son now lives. Where is Honeoye Falls in relation to Williamsville?

Welcome to the site. I think that you will find this a friendly bunch of people who are ready and willing to help in any way they can if you have a question or just want to vent or sound off. All of us have been in your shoes at some point and time in our lives and that is why we are members of this site. We have all had cancer. Don't be afraid to ask questions because no question is silly or dumb according to us. Most of the time you will find that there is an answer to your question from someone who has been there done that. I know I have met many nice people since I have been on this board and they all have been so encouraging and friendly in answering my questions or just making a comment to one of my comments. Good luck to you.

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/breast-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

You may also find our "Beginner's Guide To Cancer" page helpful Click Here for that=> http://bit.ly/10BQKCi

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Sorry you were diagnosed with cancer, but I am glad you found your way here. This is a great place to come when you have a question. I am a year and a half from my diagnosis and a year since treatment ended, but I check in every day. While my family and friends have put my struggle behind them and we no longer talk about "when I was sick," I find it therapeutic to read what others are going through and offer a few words of encouragement when I can. I hope you are discovering that courage and inner strength that is in you as you move forward.
