Thanks again for helping others on the site by sharing your own personal experiences and answering their questions. Newly diagnosed members find it comforting to know that others have been where they are at and have made it through and been able to move on with life. We appreciate you!

Hi there, BIG CONGRATULATIONS! You can breathe and start getting your strength back. All survivors hope for remission or reaching NED , unfortunately not all survivors do. I guess I can uncross those fingers now. Wishing you all good things going forward .

    Welcome Kylerem,
I am glad you have joined our group. I hope your CT scan is clear. I am getting ready to have one on he 9th, just for surveillance. My CA-125 is not accurate since it did not increase last year when I had a reoccurence. I am grateful for CT scans because when I had my reoccurence I had no symptoms. I guess we caught it early which is always good. I was diagnosed stage 3 C in In July 2015. So far, so good. Feel free to ask any questions. We are here for you.

Hi Kylerem and welcome to WhatNext.com! I'm so very sorry to hear of your diagnosis but you've found a great place to ask questions, get information, and share experiences. I was stage IV at my diagnosis too and I'm still here more than five years later so please know there's still plenty of hope.

A few months ago, I recorded a series of videos for WhatNext about my cancer journey. You may find them helpful. I've included a link at the end of this message should you wish to check them out.

WhatNext.com is a great place for everyone, from the newly diagnosed to those of us who've been living with cancer for some time - friends and loved ones too! While you're here at WhatNext.com, check out the questions and experiences of other folks here. You can find people who've had the same cancer, surgeries, chemotherapy and experiences should you wish. It's often reassuring to know others have been through what you're facing and thrived. I also recommend the PINBOARD - there are often humorous or uplifting posts that can make your day. Definitely worth checking out.

In the meantime, I'm here if you have any questions or want to chat.

Welcome Kylerem, to our WhatNext Family... I just want to let you know that Stage IV Ovarian Cancer can be beat. I was diagnosed at age 62 in January of 2007.... was then given six months to live... Boy were they wrong!!!... I was referred to a Gynecologic Oncologist Surgeon who did my surgery. He removed a 39 pound tumor and both ovaries, then he scraped all the cancer he could see from my intestines, urethrea, and fat pads.... I did 18 months of strong chemo... It wasn't easy but it was very DOABLE... Here I am getting ready to celebrate the birth of our tenth GREAT Grandchild.... and my 76th birthday next month. When I was diagnosed, I told God how terrified I was. My fear left me instantly.. I felt totally at peace. Then I asked God to please take my hand and lead me to where He wanted me to be. Here I am sending you a Cyber Hug and saying a prayer for you..

Kylerem, welcome to WhatNext. Sorry you were diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer was never on my radar either when I was diagnosed with stage IIIC in 2013. I came to WhatNext shortly after treatments began needing to connect with other survivors and wanting information. I learned that although all the treatments for this disease are difficult , and effect everyone different,y, they are DOABLE .I have benefitted and continue to benefit not only from the information, but from the tremendous support of the WhatNext community . Please, fill in your experiences, ask any questions and look the site over. We have many helpful blogs and videos. kalindria,, another WhatNext survivor, has a video describing her life living with recurrent stage IV ovarian cancer. Continue to reach out, because, we are all stronger together. Wishing you better days ahead and here to talk anytime.
