Hi Julie, so sorry to hear of the mets to your lungs. Mine are also in all lobes of both lungs. I recently started backnowledge on Folfox with Avastin. I will complete 4 rounds and be rescanned in April. My largest nodules are 4.4 x 3.6 cm. I've contacted MD Anderson in Houston to be put on a list for new trials. I'm in the process of getting medical records to them. Yes your nodules are small and I pray the xeloda keeps them in check. If you would like to talk, let me know and I'll ask Greg to send you my email address. Email me, and then we can exchange phone #'s, if you want. Take care and I look forward to contacting you. Either way, keep me posted.0February 2016

My husband developed a partial obstruction and has an ileostomy. He is on his 6th day in the hospital on an NG tube. How long did it take for you? What else helped you to resolve it?0January 2015

Hi. You recently replied to a posting that you do some yoga that helps the digestive system. Could you share some more information on that? Is there a website you could direct me to or other information that I could search more on this? Thank you.0October 2014

Hi Julie. I am a 7 year survivor from stage 4 colorectal cancer. I also had three surgical interventions all of which were pretty heavy. I had a full round of radiation and have had around 30 doses of chemo. I am also chronic and am on maintenance chemo which is not too severe. I did have a colostomy and have been fortunate in that I had no bowel problems but I think the bag helps me in this regard once one gets over the psychological negatives.
I do hope you continue to soldier on and continue to give inspiration to survivors like myself.0August 2014 -
Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
