Hi terrilynn,
I read your post about your residual joint pain. If you don't mind, could you tell me more about this?
I was also on Taxol and have what I call joint/muscle pain/stiffness all over my body that started after completing chemo in November. I don't feel much improvement now that I am 4 months beyond treatment. It's the worst in my shoulders, then fingers, hips, ankles…then just all over. The doctor (and my OT) is aware and hasn't recommended seeing any other doctors. At what point did you go to the Rheumatologist? And what is OA?
I wasn't expecting this side effect and find it to be so frustrating now that I am trying to move on.
Thanks!0March 2014 -
Hey there! Just wondering how your rheumotolgist appt went and if you're feeling any better?
I feel like I might be slowly getting better. I saw my PCP last week and showed her a bump on my finger that popped up a couple of months ago. She thinks it's arthritis.0April 2014 -

Hello terrilynn, how are things going for you? Looks like you are getting closer to being thru with the chemo. I will start on the 16th...I cried today when I made that appointment! Looks like I've got the same course, a/c followed by taxol. Then the 6wks of rads. It helps hearing how everyone here is making it thru. Wishing you strength to continue on!0September 2013

This is what I hate most about cancer. It causes pain and emotional distress , A beautiful woman as yourself should be enjoying life not fighting to keep it. Remember everything good and bad comes from God Almighty himself . We don't understand
the why but remember he loves us and will protect us.Our ultimate goal in life is to attain eternal life with Jesus Christ anyway

You will be in my thoughts and prayers. It is a scary trip, but there is love and support on the way..0April 2013

HANG IN THERE I HAVE STAGE IV AND THIS IS YEAR 7 FOR ME!! THE DRUGS WILL HELP EVERYTHING SLOW DOWN.
STAY POSITIVE AND YOU WILL DO FINE!!0April 2013 -
Hey TerriLynn - we are similar in age and in diagnosis. I got my initial diagnosis on January 14th and my final pathology (after double mastectomy) on February 22nd. I was relieved to be stage 2a ER/PR+. It is really scary to be in the unknown phase without all of the information. So far I have had the double mastectomy with tissue expanders and 2 of my 6 chemo treatments. I feel really good - no side effects from chemo and once I had all the information my emotional roller coaster ended. I have confidence in my medical team and in the fact that it was caught early and I'm going to be just fine! We're walking this road together - you'll be in my thoughts. -ROAR0April 2013
