Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
You may also find our "Beginner's Guide To Cancer" page helpful Click Here for that=> http://bit.ly/10BQKCi
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Hello Tam4given,
I appreciated your reply to my question. (Sometimes I think feeling I am getting the run around are from my years as a nurse and yes I have worked with many cancer patients and given the chemo meds.)
I just know that when a patient had a question that I could not answer for them I "GOT them their answers." Without the patients, I would not have had a job.... They were paying and I wanted to make sure they got the best I could give. So, now I feel,,, where is that person for me?
I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay POSITIVE. You are the one fighting this battle... not the ones that are taking care of you and you have the RIGHT to have what ever feelings you may experience. God Bless and stay positive.0September 2013 -
Diagnosed 4 months ago and they still have not done anything about it? I would be looking for a new doctor if I were in your shoes. Four months is a long time to wait to treat infiltrating cancer. Please get a second opinion. Anyway, welcome to the site. I think that you will find this a friendly place to come when you need to sound off or vent from anger. We are all here to listen and help, if we can, because at some point and time in each of our lives we have been in your situation. Please don't be afraid to ask questions either. No question on this site is silly or dumb. We all have questions we would like other opinions on or answers to. There are so many nice people here that it has helped me get through my fears I had when I was DX'd with DCIS. Good luck in the future0September 2013

You have come to the right place for help. I was diagnosed with stage IV BC in June and am happy to say I started treatment at MD Anderson in Orlando Fl in July and am doing well. Hopefully you have found a good treatment center and will start soon.0September 2013
