Cancer just seems to slap us in the face with our mortality. How can one see the good in this? It is definitely hard but we can do it and we can get through this. My faith in God has definitely given me strength through all stages in my life. He's never left my side and I am so thankful to him for that. You also have to realize that life isn't a guarantee for ANYONE on earth. All I can do is try to enjoy every single day, every breath, every moment I'm given with those I love. I live one day at a time and as I've told my family and friends, I will endure through whatever comes my way if it means I get to spend more time with them. Surround yourself with the positive. People who lift you up, music that lifts you up, your faith, and the realization that today you were given the gift of life. Also, don't be afraid to plan for tomorrow. I make plans for tomorrow all the time and it's those plans that also help me and give me strength to get to experience them. To get to fulfill those plans. There might be the "unknown" that cancer has put in my life, but I'm not going to let that stop me from living. You can do this. We are here for you and we're on your team. Wishing you all the best. Sending you tons of hugs. Keep smiling friend.

Hello and welcome, we are glad to have you with us. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, any questions you may have just post them in the questions tab and everyone will see them there and be able to help you.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/colorectal-colon-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
