Hi. I think you may have written to me awhile ago, but I lost your address. If I am wrong, and it was someone else,I will blame it on chemo brain and just offer love and support to someone else who has "been there"! God bless you! Hope you are doing well!

    MTSIS,
Thanks for the comment on my wall. I just read your journey. We had some similar experiences. I had several lung taps until chemo kicked in. I dreaded them until I had the best radiologist who did lots of numbing before the tap.
The first tap was in ER. As the fluid drained and the lung expanded, I started coughing prtty hard and constant. (ouch!!!) I looked up at the sign on the wall right in front of me. It was a cold care sign that said "Please cover your cough" I then got the giggles and apologized for not covering my cough. It felt good to breathe again.
I was/am on an experimental regimen. Got the same drugs and the bone marrow suppression but could not get the drugs to boost the bone marrow because my protocol was weekly. So, I enjoyed - NOT, some delays.
Happy to hear some other places have a celebration to end therapy. Our radiation people get a bottle of sparkling grape juice to go with their bell ringing.
Looking forward to reading your posts.
    Be blessed.
