maryloufrench, saw your concern about no scans by Kaiser. I have been in remission now for one year with stage IIIC ovarian cancer and have had no pet scan or ct. scan in that time. You are extremely lucky your Cancer was found in the very earliest of stages. I see my doctor every three months for a checkup and have had one pelvic . The CA125 is a good marker for me so that is tested every three months also. The problem with ct and pet scans is the extremes of radiation you are exposed to. Within one year I had three chest x-Rays, and three ct scans so I am surprised I do not light up in the dark. Listen to your body, continue to have frequent checkups and when in doubt call the doc. All of us once diagnosed with cancer have the " what if " syndrome.0March 2015

I'm glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that led you here. And good luck sorting out the plans of the various oncologists. Do you trust one more than the other? If not, have you considered a 3rd opinion? Wishing you all the best.0July 2013
