luc56, what kind of radiation did you have? (external or internal brachytherapy?) I was stage IIB when first diagnosed, but had no chemo then--only brachytherapy (internal "seeds" at the "cervical cuff.") Chance of recurrence was supposed to be only 5% with that. I have recurred 3 times so far since then! So I'm curious as to what kind of radiation you had and what your prognosis is. Does your doctor think the cancer will recur or not? (I've had clear PET/CTs every time after about 3 chemo treatments and at the end of treatment series. But cancer comes back 8 or 9 mths later. I'm wondering if I should ask for radiation, if your prognosis is better. I wish you the best.0July 2013
