jen, my husband, Steve, is an ordained minister and Pastor - one of the pastors at our church, we have a large staff. He is my second husband. My first husband died of melanoma - so I have seen cancer from both sides, caretaker and patient. Neither are great! Our church does an online service and now we also do an open air one on our grounds. We all wear masks, at least until we are settled in our place, and we social distance, of course. So whoever is doing the sermon needs to do it twice - once for video and once *live.* it isn't so bad , before the lockdown we did three services. but, being outside in the heat IS bad. I was worried for Steve, but he was fine.
This is one reason why I am kind of sensitive to Pauline. She is older (actually...I'M older too!), and very dedicated to her faith. I don't agree with the extremes she sometimes employs, but I do understand her and I feel a little protective of her. I will post an answer on the original question site later, but I just wanted to share the personal stuff with you. I don't usually speak of my husband's profession because not everyone feels comfortable with it, and I honestly understand.

Hi legaljen1969, I hope you don't leave here now or ever, but if you ever do but would like to maintain contact, I would love for you to write to me at livewithcancer2015 @ gmail . com ... it is an email address I do not check frequently, but I do check every so often. I will give you an email I use more often if you ever do write to the one above. I have enjoyed getting to know you here.
