    Hey laurie2025,

I was reading your post on another page and saw that you had your bilateral mastectomy 2 weeks ago (me too) and are having axillary lymph node issues (me too). My node surgery was May 1 and I was just able to get into PT, but there is so much scar tissue and cording already. I even have a little bruising from some of my stretching. Ugh.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know you're not alone.

Dear Laurie2025. I read on a post where you are taking Tylenol for pain. Stay away from that stuff, it damages the liver. My mother-in-law got cerosis of the liver from taking Tylenol from the day it came out. She wasn't a drinker either and that the was the only explanation the doctors could us when she ended up in the hospital with a broken hip joint. Just a word of warning that's all. I personally take Advil and it seems to work great for me and is much safer to take. Of course, anything we take has to go through the liver so anything can damage it.

I have decided to go to my normal salon. They are hygienic- no problems in 10 years. My doctor wants them off so I will just be painting my own short nails for a while.

This is such a tough time for you, chemo and all the side effects. It's life-saving poison, though, and I try to emphasize the life-saving part. I hope you have a good day today.

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, any questions you may have just post them in the questions tab and everyone will see them there and be able to help you.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. I had the same diagnosis as far as HER2 Positive, ER Positive, and PR Positive. I am 5 1/2 yrs out of treatment now and if I can offer you any hints or help I will be glad to. One thing a friend told me was to take anti-nausia pills the evening of chemo and take them for three days total. I did this and never felt nausious again. Stay active and walk, walk, walk, to keep up your strength. Also, for mouth sores, combine in equal amounts, Malox and Benedryl, and gargle with it. My mouth sores cleared up over night. Good luck, you can do this.
