    Hi Kimba,
All we can do is just take one day at a time and try to keep positive thoughts going. I realize that's not always easy with having other health issues on top of having CA. I have chronic sciatica, so I sympathize with you having arthritis on top of everything else. Let's stay in touch as we take this new journey in our life. Wishing you the best outcome.

Hi Kimba. Thanks for the follow! If there is anything I can do to be of assistance or if you just need a bit of sarcasm in your life, let me know! Hope things are going ok for you. I see you are going to be in chemo for another couple/few months. Hope that isn't giving you too much trouble. AND have a great weekend!

I saw your post on lymph edema bracelets and realized you were new to our group. Just wanting to reach out and give you a big "hi" and warm cyber-hug. My journey started 2 years ago in July '14. The time passes and before you know it, the worst is over and in your rear view mirror. If you need a compression sleeve for travel or exercise consider the really fun ones sold through Lymphedivas. I was surprised that the cost was only $6 more than the boring beige ones. I have a tattoo one that looks so real I have been complimented on the "nice work" on my arm. Lol! Do nice things for yourself and just keep believing in all good things. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Best wishes and welcome to our group! Judy in Ky (BTW, my youngest child is in school at Gettysburg College so I have gotten to discover the beauty of Pennsylvania recently!)

kimba9584, everything moves so quickly once diagnosed, for all of us, For awhile, I took a mild antidepressant prescribed by my gp. I am past treatment now and no longer am on it. This may be a help. I am not one for pills and was surprised that it did help me. There are numerous breast cancer survivor groups everywhere that may be of help to you also. Cancer catches all of us off guard. Take care, and wishing you better days.

Hi Kimba. Welcome to What Next. There are lots of great people here. If you have any questions, please use the question tab above -- that way everyone will have access & you'll get a quicker response. I'm glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that led you here. Good luck w/chemo. It wasn't as bad for me as I was afraid it would be.

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx. Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall. Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site.
