Hi, saw your response about waiting for the next scan. You've had quite an experience. I don't envy you. My first post-treatment scan showed a possible secondary cancer in my throat. I was supposed to watch it. My Onc rad was deflated. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. I knew that it was an inflamed tonsil stub-nothing more and nothing less. I had past Drs tell me that I had a tonsil stub. No reason to remove it, unless it became a problem. A few weeks earlier, I was hospitalised and these Internet nurses didn't know how to take an oral temp. I opened my mouth, the nurse shoved in the thermometer and I screamed. I showed them how to take an oral temp-nicely. Anyway, I got hold of my ENT and in 24 hours he had the stub out. The biopsy was negative-not even precancerous. If mine comes back-it will eat through my brain like PacMan. i have my exit planned-but I'm 72-so there's a good chance that I might slip on ice, fall off a ladder, or not hear a trigger happy cop scream to me-hands up-get down now- don't move-hands up-- bam---If you saw the city with the riots about the police-that's where I live-I'd say that I have a 50% chance of being shot, while watering flowers out front-or them serving a warrant at the wrong address- so I'm not too worried. At least my family would get a million or so.

Hi; Read your comments about HBO and dental surgery. I wonder if you wouldn't mind sending details and phone numbers to geeklingat yahoo.com with an ampersand replacing the word at and no spaces, please? I am in some trouble with my mouth and there does not seem to be the brilliant minds here in So Fla that there are in Seattle. Perhaps I can get referrals or who knows what.
Did Medicare cover any of this?
Thanx a whole bunch. Best wishes for recovered good health.
