Hi there. Glad to hear your PET scan was negative. I know you will be starting radiation soon. Just know you are not alone. I've gone through surgery, radiation and chemo. If you have any questions please feel free to ask away. No question is a bad question here. We're all here to help any way we can. I send lots of hugs your way and keep that awesome positive attitude you have. Your positive attitude is a weapon against this diagnosis. You're on the right track. <3

You are very welcome!! And happy to hear your PET scan was negative. Glad to have a comrade and very happy to share. We follow the same path, except my pelvic washings were positive. After I healed from surgery and a nicked bladder, I had 5 wks of IMRT with lo-dose Cisplatin, declined the internal radiation and did 4 rounds (every 3 weeks) of Carbo/Taxol. We can chat more if you want to on e-mail.

    Hi,
I just saw your post - must have missed it on the e-mail one week. Sorry no one responded before me. I was pretty close to your exact path in Dec of last year. Since the cervical cancer also appeared on my ovary (which was also my first clue anything was amiss), they deemed me Stage 4. I had my last chemo on July 16 and went through radiation treatment as well. I would be happy to share or lend support - just let me know. You can get do it!!! There are others on this blog who can help you a lot. You are not alone on this journey. Pls write.
