I hope you are doing well with your chemo treatments. YOu are about 3 yrs behind me. Chemo has not been too bad for me and I have little to no side effects from them. I am continuing with chemo as I have other years, so hang in there. Thoughts are with you.0November 2015

Hi, Calfhugger. This is a good site for support and information. I notice you are following me. I, too, had robotic/laparoscopic hysterectomy (in Dec. 2009) but was lucky to have quick recovery & no blood clot. I had brachytherapy in early 2010 to minimize chance of recurrence. But it came back about 10 months later, even though the 19 lymph nodes removed were all clear. I've had many chemo combinations over the past 5 yrs. PET/CT scans after chemo rounds were always clear (for 6-8 months anyway before next recurrence). But the last one showed the malignant pelvic lymph node had grown + now have bone mets in lower spine & right hip, so am having 18 radiation treatments. As you've read in some of the other comments, some people show no evidence of disease for years--or ever. Wishing you the same.0November 2015

Hi Calfhugger. I noticed that you decided to follow me. Thanks! Be warned, I can be a bit sarcastic. But I'm mostly harmless. : )

Hi , my name is Laura and I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer at 61 also. Had a radical hysterectomy followed by 29 radiation treatments and 4 brachytherapy. Was cancer free for 21/2 years and then it appeared in a lymph node in my necka nd two small ones in my chest. Completed 6 rounds of chemo in March and in July was diagnosed with a spot on my shoulder blade and one small one under my arm. Just completed 15 radiation treatments and feeling great! I know its hard but you can either live your life and enjoy it or keep thinking about it. I choose to LIVE MY LIFE!!! Your outlook is the mist important> Stay positive and don't let negativity stop you. Cry if you want and laugh every chance you can. You can live a good life with cancer. I AM!!!!0September 2015
