Thank you for sharing your milestones. I am looking ahead to chemo and like you it is good to have someone who has been through it. Doctors mean well but sometimes they do not prepare you for what is next.0August 2014

Thank u so much for the encouragement Everything happened so fast and right now I am having a really difficult time dealing with everything. I had surgery 4 weeks ago and I am still having quite a bit of pain and discomfort. Is this normal ? I expected to feel much better than this by now and wanted to get back to work but the way I feel right now there is no way I can return to work for at least another week or so. It's been very discouraging0July 2014

Thanks for your post a few days ago! I don't get on here as much anymore...just occasionally. Now that I am post treatment I am trying to not worry about it coming back and just trying to move on with life. It has been hard with three little kids, but I also think it's made the process easy too since I have had other people to focus on 3 girls are the best! How have you been feeling post treatment? I am heading to see my new oncologist in five days for my three month check up. We moved a month after I had finished treatment so everything is new for me here. We'll see how it goes. Hope you are feeling well! I see you had an allergic reaction to oxi too...I hope to never have to go on that stuff again. Every time I would need huge amounts of Benadryl and extra steroids to ward off the hives! They were horrible.0June 2014

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us.Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
