Thanks. Yesterday got CT results and all looked good. Also CEA was 1.5. Otherwise, usual bowl craziness and neuropathy. Probably at this point will be forever. And, of course dealing here in the Boston area with unbelievable, never ending snow. Like again tonight. Every weekend for the past four weeks. Looks like the Artic right now and that spring will never come. Uggh. How are you doing? Assume kidney cysts are not a concern to you and your oncologist. So all good. Thanks for staying in touch. As I said before, really helps to be in touch with a fellow warrior who experiences the same fight. Keep the faith.

Hi, thanks for staying in touch. My neuropathy after two-plus years has not lessened and as with you, I believe will not get any better. I was last Thursday to my Neuropathy Support Group, and this day there were two of us (out of about 20) with chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy. The leader of the group mentioned research with an over-the-counter supplement, CoQ10 (200mg daily) that showed effectiveness in helping reduce symptoms of CIPN. For about 1-1/2 years I was taking 1,200 mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid, which several clinical studies reported effectiveness in CIPN. I saw no improvement, so I now am trying the CoQ10. Have my strong doubts, but at this point, have begun trying. Good luck with your January10 CT scan, as can understand your being a bit nervous. I am each time, whether it is the simple blood draw for the CEA level or the CT scan. Keep my apprised as I will be thinking of you and sending out only good wishes as believe you will pass with flying colors. And as you remembered, mine will be one month later. Hope you were able to enjoy Christmas and best wishes for a Happy and Healthier New Year. Keep the faith.

Hi, thanks for remembering and asking. It was an unbelievably good 1.7. What a drop from what it once was. Have my next CT scheduled for February. That will be more telling. How are you doing and has the pain eased any now in your legs and has the overall neuropathy lessened? My neuropathy remains constant with no signs of getting any better. Let's be thankful this Thanksgiving for making it. Keep the faith and keep in touch.

Hi anggie0053, getting this news from you was terrific, as been thinking about you since last communications and this was a relief to hear, especially that you have also completed chemo. Hope that you are not left with any lasting "chemo-gifts." My last CT scan also was once again good. In fact CEA count had even gone down. Next CEA, blood test is on November 11 and hoping again that CEA is stable or even lower. Next CT is February. We are in this fight together. Keep the faith.

Hi aggie, Just checking back to see how your last CEA count was in that I remember you had yours like mine going upward last time you posted and was hoping your most recent test now showed either stable or downward CEA trend. I just had my blood test and my CEA started downward after spiking to close to 3. Next test in November and will then have an idea of it is still lower or on a roller coaster ride. Keep the faith.

I go to UofM, about 45 minute drive. Good luck on your treatment. I've been out there since May, 2011 (uterine and thyroid cancer).
