Can you tell me a bit about your recurrence and what you had for symptoms when it returned? I am having some rising CA 125 levels and am 5 months out from my last chemo..0June 2015

It's so encouraging to hear you had my same unusual cancer & have done so well! Were you by any chance a DES baby? This was a drug given to expecting mothers, allegedly to prevent miscarriage? I am & believe my cancer is related to that drug, since it impacted/damaged the reproductive organs.0January 2015

Interested in the book you referred to. Is it still available and still useful?0March 2014

Dear Pambsky, I am an Imerman Angel volunteer and now a mentor of three different people in addition to a caregiver of my husband and a survivor of stage IV colon cancer myself....we do not have your book available here in Chile or Brazil, so if you could send a pfd copy of eat to me or an e-book version that would be just amazing... I thank you in advance for any help you can give me in my fighting against cancer as well as in the fight of those I am currently supporting......God bless you and continue blessing all of us0January 2014

Thank you so much for the welcome, Pambsky. Wow, 9 1/2 years! That is really inspiring. My mom is so afraid of recurrence, but hearing a story like yours is very helpful. Would love to follow you and learn more about your diet.0December 2013

Hi Pambsky, I am fairly new here, just dx in Aug. I am also a foodie who loves to cook. Have been staying away from white flour, rice, pasta, and refined foods for a few years now. I looked up your cookbook on Amazon and it looks amazingly delicious.
However, since finding out about the cancer I have decided to go the way of high alkaline, no sugar (at all) eating regimen. Eat as raw as I can handle (turns out not much actually, but working on it) most foods. I am a little disconcerted that I have been eating well all these years yet still got the dreaded big "C". I finally figured out it was because I was a big drinker most my life. The new studies coming out fit me to a tee. So, stopped all alcohol as well. I am convinced also that I will make it because of my attitude, exercise, meditation, and what I put in my body. I have been proactive from the beginning and can happily say that when the medical staff says anything to me I can usually respond with, "oh yea, I have heard of that, tell me more". Or even better, "I know about that and disagree or agree with you". It is very empowering to be able to take control of your own destiny.
Your story is also very empowering and I am so glad you are here to let the rest of us know IT CAN BE DONE! Thank you for sharing and if you don't mind, I will be following you to keep up with all the natural goodness I can learn.0November 2013 -
Hiya;
Saw your pictures and we are akin. I became a serious raw foodie which simply means I do not eat un-sprouted grains/seeds and eat everything I choose to eat without high heat. People seem to have an idea that food isn't relevant but, like you, I've found that the difference is tremendous. I wrote a book too!! I thought I wrote it for money and that is partially true but as I read your words I realized that there would be no reason to put the book together if I did not want to "spread the word" that corporate packaging, corporately enforced parenting regarding what is to be food, and old food and canned food is akin to malnutrition in a chemically & GMO laden box.
I had a skin cancer which I got from oxygen starvation and long temp exposure to a deadly toxin from which they make agent orange and other crapola. The cancer is supposed to be aggressive but during the 13 years it took me to find a doctor willing and able to diagnosis the tumor, it had only grown to a stage 2. Had I only known the word biopsy .. I kept asking for it to be removed only to be told "We don't do that anymore." I've been into fresh foods & herbs since I was a young woman.
Check me out: http://www.blujay.com/geekling and, if you are on FB, I have a page and a group there too. How do I find your book, please? Keep yourself well. BTW, I lived most of my adult youth in N. Ca. I keep an email addy under the same nick at yahoo.com if you wish to chatter some time. Cheers and best healthy wishes0November 2013 -
