I also have had friends tell me to only talk about happy things and I feel like I have to put on an act around them so I won't make them uncomfortable so I never get to be honest with them about how I'm feeling so I've out them in a wider friendship circle instead of a closer one. People who don't really care to know how you're feeling have low levels of empathy and I'm looking for friends that can offer words of encouragement big smiles and hugs and I don't get that from them. I had one friend to tell me that I need to get over it and another say the cancer wasn't about me and another who compared her hysterectomy as the same as my cancer diagnosis. I sat stunned that she thought hysterectomy was as life threatening as cancer. People say and do strange things don't they?

Just read your Journey and it's like a Horror Movie. How is it possible that they DON'T have better treatments after Trillions of Dollars and all that research?
    Hope you are doing better.

This is prayer for those with colon cancer.
God, you have told us in Mathew 15:13 “… Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.” God, on the basis of this Word, we root up every malignant tumor that is causing this dear one have colon cancer and we declare that this dear ones whole body is free from every sickness in Jesus Powerful Name, Amen. Colon cancer, we command you in Jesus Mighty Name to be rooted up and cast out of this dear one’s body in Jesus Powerful Name, Amen. God, every pain that these dear one is having, I ask please remove it in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Jesus, You say in your Word that we should cast our cares to you. We cast this sickness and we take your yoke that is easy. Thank you for this precious exchange in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

hi my name is melissa my friend is 55 and was diagnosed in Jan. this year..she had a great response to the chemo.and radiation..she had surgery in May to remove the pea size tumor that remained. she has a stoma in her small intestine and we have had nothing but trouble with it..she went back to see the surgen earlier this month...when he examed her he found a small hole (i believe where he reconected the rectum) this may or may not heal...which means she will have to live with the illiostomy....the thought of living with the stoma has made her very upset....she still has to undergo more chemo....where r you in your battle....
