The reason why I ask is I have asked a community question and now I can't find it. I am navigating something wrong.0October 2013

Very sick after 5 days of chemo for CMML. What do people do to get relief from all side affects?0September 2013

It was the actual wound from the operation that won't heal.
Radiation did not help.0September 2013 -
Greg, a friend showed my poem to people at the hospital she works at. They just merged with another hospital and they are opening a new cancer center. They are going to print and mat my poem and hang it in the new center. WOW0September 2013

WOW Greg....I am overwhelmed with the response to the poem. Thank you so much for posting it. One thing I have learned from WhatNext is that, unfortunately, there are a lot of "us" out there and they are truly the only ones who really know how it feels.0September 2013

Just watched video by ticklingcancer. Awesome!
Here is a poem I wrote
THERE IS NO TREAT IN TREATMENT
I've been X-rayed, CT scanned, and MRI'd.
Sound waved, contrasted, radio-active dyed.
I've been poked and prodded, and needle stuck.
I'm starting to wonder like....WTF?
Been biopsied, surgeried, ported and drained.
It's my second ride on the cancer train.
The lymph nodes are gone from under both arms.
Both breasts removed- no more womanly charms.
Next comes chemo and then some radiation.
Think I'm gonna need some heavy sedation.
Seems pretty severe to rid me of cancer.
Can't help but wonder- is this really the answer?
In the long run, when all is said and done,
Hope my fight against cancer again will be won.
So everyone out there for me keep on prayin',
It's something that DOESN'T hurt, you know....just sayin'.

I was wondering if you could post it somehow so others can share and not have it get lost in the shuffle. I am not computer literate at all. I don't even know how to post my picture on this site. Thanks0September 2013 -

Hi Greg,
I posted my Email address on a post I made on CAS1's wall. Could you delete it for me? Thanks.

I did get outside later in the day- Sitting outside in the fresh air made me feel better. I just wasn't up for jumping jacks today, however.....0September 2013

I see you have written to this CraigThomas regarding his friend's survey...several folks have attempted or have already filled out the questionnaire already (Carool, SueRae1 and Clyde), a comment was also made about its inappropriateness. Glad you are aware and on top of this. Grace0September 2013

Thank you Greg. I understand there are survivor & I'm so happy they are still here with us, I truly truly am. I guess I'm just wondering if I might be so lucky. I'm just feeling scared. I'm usually stronger than this, just a bad day I guess. Thank you!!0September 2013

Hey Greg -- Soo good to connect with someone from TN. My main question, at this point, is how would my son prefer to be treated. Everything I have read, says "like they are not sick" but I find it awkward. He is 27 yrs old, Stage 3-C with mets to lungs and lymph nodes. Currently undergoing intense chemo and has tolerated very well for the most part. I live in Nashville (was with him for 1st round of chemo) and he lives in Sarasota, FL. Please just be straight-up with me. We will be going back down mid-Oct for his 3rd round of chemo. God bless you; you give me hope.0September 2013

GregP_WN Hi Donna, sorry I'm a little late getting back to you, I traveled across the state today to go to a seminar tomorrow. We have a Gynecology Nurse, @carm maybe that was her? I don't remember an Oncology nurse, but there may be. Try Carm and see if she has what you need, she is great. - See more at: http://www.whatnext.com/home#sthash.VlUyPams.dpuf
Thanks, Greg. I found her. She gave me an ACS web site about different kind of Tumor Markers. Thanks for always being so responsive. DJ0September 2013 -
I was linked with an oncological RN. Do you remember who that may be???? Tx.0September 2013

Hi Greg, I know it's good news and I am grateful that it's even possible to do surgery. I'm just scared, but you're right I need to trust my Dr. and know that I'm one of the lucky ones who caught it early. Hope you're doing well. Happy weekend ! Zoe0September 2013

Hi there, sir! My best friend Kathleen (username: swinginpoet) just today directed me here to her account, where she'd posted some photos and information about my battle with cancer over the past several months, and I saw a comment reply where you'd mentioned instructions on how to link the blog I've been writing about my experiences here for anyone who needed some help figuring out how. Any chance for with some direction getting started, or any other way in which my skillset as a writer might be of service?0September 2013
