This is for everyone pass it on.

Does GUYABANO/GRAVIOLA/SOURSOP (all the same plant) help with chemo side effects?

I have been taking Graviola capsules for a year. A good friend moved to Peru and lived there for ten years. The Peruvians used by Graviola for remedies, it's also called Guyabano and Soursop. Many Islanders and South Americans drink the tea. When I told my friend I had cancer, she recommended Guyabano. I believe it has helped me. I've been in 4th stage cancer for over a year (tested last month) and I walked 24 blocks three weeks ago and felt okay. ( I"m 73) I get a little nauseous but otherwise, I'm fine.

Studies conducted at the National Institutes of Health confirm that acetogenins have antitumorous properties, providing further support of using graviola as an alternative or supplement to chemotherapy treatment. Additionally, annonaceous acetogenins discriminately inhibit cancer cell growth and inhibit tumor cell growth that is typically resistant to adriamycin (a chemotherapy drug).

    https://www.yahoo.com/health/the-medical-tests-people-over-65-dont-need-95206481042.html.com

Copy this web address put into browser. It's the article I am spreading to seniors after a prestigious hospital neglected me because of my age. It is now legal. With 4th stage cancer, due to neglect I have no recourse. It is not neglect anymore to deny seniors expensive tests according to life expectancy. . I hope you find the article interesting. If so, let others know. It's mostly done by private hospitals to save money. This is what my lawyer told me.

Yeah, I saw that about something too good to be true. Right now, society is realizing that people with student loans are paying companies for activities and representation that's provided free by the feds. I'm glad that you're checking this out. I hate to see people ripped off.

Tuesdays trials or Tuesdays triumphs- The Internet router started getting flakey last week. Comcast and our MS Internet people said that we needed a new router. Got the PCs tuned up on the weekend TG.

Today I unplugged everything-went to Comcast-they moved. Stood in line for way over a half hour, rude to clerk, who was trying to sell us the moon.

4 connections, Greg, 4- over 2 hours to get the PCs online, and the phone still doesn't work. I plugged in the phone line, the ethernet to my old PC, the power, and the cable.

It took over 20 minutes to get the old PC with an ethernet online. I feel for the reps, they had to wait for me to walk from one end of the house to the other. Then their lexicon was completely from what was in the guide. That type of work is so fatiguing anyway. I feel sorry for anybody that has to talk to me.

Anyway- you could have Tues, or Thurs trial or triumph, I've noticed that people like to talk about how're they are doing-what ever- Somehow my days just don't go the way, I planned---I was going to vacuum good and get the spare room cleaned up.

Hi, I don't have diabetes, I don't have pre-diabetes. I was just caught in one of America's WARS. The powers that be decided that when a person's glucose levels reach a certain level that the medical community should scare the tar out of the patient to get them to stop eating doughnuts and walk a little.

I raised so much Caine, that the experts sat down- looked at my IBS and called me up and admitted this. Then I told them that I have incurable cancer, then they really felt bad. Everyone I talked to used different terminology, so I kept pressing. Then my PCP was under pressure to scare me.

I keep telling the jerks that I walk about a mile a day with my hounds, except for when they find a new way to poison me, refuse to treat things like strep, the ER does everything wrong with an injury, or the HMO pharmacy board contacts the pharmacy to change a med and lie about it- they even lie to my PCPs, as I've taken the actual med into the doctor- and they say---They lied to me, that's not what the pharmacy board and pharmacy said.

I'm getting increasingly distrustful. There's a saying---Just because you are paranoid, that doesn't mean that you don't have a justified reason to be paranoid.

I will not have another glucose nor cholesterol test. All they do is lie to me and raise my blood pressure. If I didn't have cancer on my face, I'd go to Mexico and take my chances with the cartels. The good Lord knows that I spent over 15 years trying to talk my son into doing this. I hate living in a land where they tell me that I can't take meds that work, I hate being lied to because of a war on something, surgeons that do not have pain patients being investigated by the DEA.

I've got a friend who was diagnosed w squamous cell carcinoma last week. They are trying to schedule surgery next week. She has a huge knot on the side of her neck and she says they found another at the base of her tongue in her throat. I certainly am going to recommend this site. But I just noticed today you had this or a form of what she has. She said they think they caught it early. I believe she said it ( not sure what "it" she's referring too I'm guessing the one on her tongue) is 1.5 cm. basically I guess other than recommending this site, is there anything I should suggest/do for her? I have MM, so my experience much much different. Is there anything you recommend that would help her in the hospital, home, anything you can think of that you wish someone had told you prior to going on this journey?
Thanks for listening to me ramble, as usual, any advice would be greatly appreciated:)). Lynne

Hi Greg, I have a question for you---Every so often we have somebody that seems to be neglected by their oncologist or has other reasons to change doctors and/or clinics. Then people and their families often have to get a second opinion under the worst of circumstances. Cane we make a help page or include in your welcome that a person needs to try to have written contact with the doctor/clinic, if a phone call doesn't take care of concern/problem. Can we have this as a resource?
Can you post a question on how get a second opinion through your insurance and in your state?

Can you post a question of how to change doctors in your state?

Greg, my first oncologist said that he wouldn't care for me until I submitted to having half of my face removed-bone included. He also refused to release me from his care, which prevented me from getting another doctor. I was able to resolve this by using Email, certified letters, and the EHR that has a message your doctor page. When I threatened to sue, the clinic knew that I had I had written proof, that they told me I'd get a new doctor in a few days-but it never happened.

When you look at helpless-you will cry with me. Her mother seems to be dehydrating, while the doctor talks of further chemo. The mother isn't in hospice-at least she doesn't say that-and with a schedule of further chemo---This woman has been calling and calling, but doesn't have anything in writing-no text-no email-

Also medical neglect-U no I had strep for 5 months. Having a record of medical visits, messages to my primary care-where I begged for a strep test-written complaints to the HMO helped me to get a new PCP, a strep test and the antibiotics, and it positively affects my current care by everyone. My regret is that I didn't go to the ERs more often, that I didn't make more noise.

A person can be polite to the doctor/clinic-and say that please I need to understand why. Please, I need it in writing to help my family understand why--------

I received answers like: I need to talk to my supervisor about this-of course you can have a new doctor, I'll get back to you later- we take your concerns about this doctor very seriously and we'll investigate- You should speak to one of our mental health counselors about this, we'll set up an appointment (when I went up for the appointment the counselor wasn't in the county so I had a screaming wall kicking fit)- It's not that they dismissed me- tried to placate me as though I was a toddler that wanted a small toy--but they realized that I had good documents for the state regulatory board, dept of health, A LAWYER------- We don't need to say any of this on the help page, as it's depressing-but an answer to us should have "Thankyou, can you give me an estimate when I will get my second opinion, my new doctor" Then when nothing happens, it shows that you gave them time.

I entered stage 4 cancer. I am feeling surprisingly good. I wrote this poem last week when I got the news.
    By Ivory Jackson
    WAITING ON THE LORD

Help me my Lord, what should I do?
I’ll now let go and now let you,
Guide me oh Lord and heal my soul
from heavy heart with painful goal.
I called you boldly not in shame.
    Where were you Lord?
    when I prayed and prayed?
I prayed to you for so many a days.

Did you not see me dance* for you,
while silently singing a song or two?
My hands held high to give you praise
Come help your child, end earthly days.
I’m crying out, what more to do?
With solemn faith I’ve waited for you.

He then spoke softly in my ear
So sweet, so kind, I had no fear
“My child you are able to think and write,
I have been with you both day and night,
I will act in due time, keep your faithful stand,
It’s MY will be done for I Am That I Am.”

    dance* = Holy Ghost Dancing

    By I. Jackson

I've written many poems. My mother influenced me by reading poems to me weekly when I was a child. She read from the old poets that usually rhymed instead of free verse. I knew Houseman, Poe, Browning, Longfellow, etc., before I was eleven. I love poetry, especially the lilt of the rhyme.

the only question I think was not on the list,(and the list you suggested was pretty exhaustive, I couldn't imagine it not being on there) maybe it was worded differently is "is the cancer metastasized to other areas of the body?" another friend asked me if I had asked that question and I said no, because my doctor told me that the cancer had not spread to other organs in my body. so, that pretty much is the same thing. Right?

Michael G. Murray, longtime resident of Libertyville, IL, passed away June 30th, after a long, brave battle against prostate cancer. He was born March 22nd, 1948 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to Gene and Marjorie Murray. He graduated from Goodrich High School in 1966 and married his high-school sweetheart, Mary Grace Mielke, in 1969. In 1970, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He earned his CPA designation in 1971, and went on to earn his Masters in Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Mike and Mary moved to Illinois where Mike held various positions until opening his own firm, Michael G. Murray, CPA, in 1988. They had two children, Melinda "Mindy" (Christopher Hubbard), and Geoffrey, and spent 44 wonderful years together traveling, enjoying performances at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and visiting with their three grandchildren in Cincinnati, Aiden, Gavin and Mearen Hubbard. Throughout his life, Mike had a passion for his family, clients, sports, music, and travel. Mike is pre-deceased by his parents and his sister Margene Pape.
