Hi , we have an opportunity for melanoma patients to participate in a survey/study about their treatments they have taken. It's a simple survey that will take about 90 minutes by phone, if you qualify to take the survey you will be paid $200.00. If you check your email you will find an invitation to take the survey to see if you will qualify. Let me know if you have any questions.

You've been through the mill, not just with your own cancer, but your sister and now your daughter. And your insurance company pussyfooting around about your scan. Yikes! We don't always get the dubious luxury of focusing only on our own cancer, but fate is dealing you extra dirty. Finding a way to walk through all this with any kind of equanimity will be a huge challenge.
I'm a 23 year melanoma survivor, and the doctors have incorrectly viewed me as a walking corpse more than once. So depending on many factors, your daughter could see those triplets graduate from college! There are lots of recent advances in melanoma treatment, so there's reason for hope.

Keep the shiny side up, wind at your back. I've always wanted to tour the south on a motorcycle, only done the whole west so far. Sold my HD when diagnosed, bought a Suzuki and put a Vanguard trike kit on it (am an amputee) because I didn't have the strength to hold the HD up any more and can't afford HD TRIKE. I should have just bought a sidecar for my dyna.

Hi BrownCounty, welcome. Think you will find a lot of helpful info on this site. And yes, it does appear we are fighting the same battle. I am going through St. Francis Hospital. Hope your journey is going well. God bless you as well and you are in my prayers.

Hi Hoosier girl, I lived in Bloomington, one sister teaches in Avon, another lives in Fishers, my mom lives on a farm in Stanford, and my friend Jay Carter owns some Brown County businesses plus I think he still lives in a historic log cabin. Wish I was there :-)
Good news on your scan. Lindy
