Thanks Andy; I just finished 4 rounds of Rituxan only. It was 1 infusion per week for 4 weeks.
I do not have any symptoms and have always felt fine ever since my diagnosis in January 2008. The reason I called my oncologist in May is because I could palate more lymph nodes in my neck that were not evident before. Since then I had scans, biopsies, bone marrow biopsy, and several appointments with my oncologist and with my Stanford team. I just wonder if I should have called him sooner.
They all decided to try Rituxan only and see if I improve. I will now wait 2 to 3 weeks and get a new CT scan, and if there has been improvement I will continue with Rituxan. If there isn't improvement I will start Bendamustin with Rituxan. The plan is to go with stronger treatment if necessary.
It's good to hear that you and others are doing well with the Rituxan + regimen and all are tolerating treatment well.
Continued good luck to you!

Have you found any relief from the itchiness? How are you feeling other than itchy? Hope you are feeling better0August 2013

Andy - how is it kicking today? I hope that cold is gone or almost. You would think chemo would kill it since it kills everything else including embedded ticks and mosquitos that are stupid enough to land on me and suck a little bit of blood, serves them right! Hope you are doing okay. I have round #4 starting tomorrow and finishing Friday, sweet! We are getting there.0July 2013

I just realized that you are taking the treatment that will be used on me if the Rituxan alone doesn't cut it. How is it? Rituxan alone hasn't been too bad since they started premedicating me with steroids, benadryl, ativan and tylenol before infusion. I'll feel pretty cruddy the nigh of treatment and tired the day after. I'm back to normal by the second day after. How much different is the Treanda and Rituxan together? Sorry to pepper you with questions but I haven't seen any other people with the same treatment plan as you to harass. You also seem like an outgoing person who is willing to share based on your posts.0July 2013

Hey Andy, how you been feeling this week? I don't know why but I have been feeling really good this week. Of course I am 2 weeks since my last treatment and it seems the further away from treatment I get the better I feel. I feel best the day before I start my next treatment. Figures. Hope you are doing okay.0July 2013
