Hi Eric. I saw that you completed the same treatment I have. I feel even more positive about your scan results. My NHL affected my spleen. The four infusions took my spleen from 17 cm down to 13 cm. All of the lymph nodes that were involved no longer show on the scan. I'm stepping up to the bendamustine + rituxan treatment in the next week or so once insurance approves it. If the spleen had responded better, we were going to stick with just rituxan. No one told my spleen that it needed to shrink in more directions that just the bottom up. The good news on the b+r is that my doc thinks I'll only need 2-4 infusions to be completely back to normal.

Hi Eric, Welcome to whatnext, I was diagnosed in May with stage 4 follicular lymphoma, there are a bunch of great people here and this site is a great resource for info and just to be able to communicate with people going through the same thing that you are.

I was wondering if you are only doing the rituxin? I am doing Treanda/Rituxin combo infusion over 2 days every 4 weeks. Seems to be the current standard to use both together. I am having my 4th treatment this week and am feeling a lot better than before starting the chemo.

Hope your battle is going well.
