Hi there VanAnn, I read you answer to the recent question about lung cancer and the hug you sent her way. I am very sorry you do not have the family support all of us need , during the tough times especially. I hope you have friends to listen to you and give you a hug. I am sending you a big hug lady, OOO, and letting you know anytime you want to talk, or just let off steam, I check my wall most days. Take care, and wishing you better days ahead.

what does the tumeric do for us as cancer patients?

VanAnn, I just saw your post on the Pinboard about President Trump and the idiocy that so many on the left are showing these days. Just wanted to give you a high five and say, "I agree totally!" (Since Trump supporters are not as vocal as those who are whining , crying, and wringing their hands, I just wanted to pipe up with my agreement! Even though the majority of the country voted for him, his supporters don't seem willing to voice their opinions. I understand why. Wow!!! I have been called every name in the book for my politics!)

By the way, I too have NSCLC. My first oncologist thought I would live 4 months, but here I am 4 years later! There is a very informative Summit held every year in DC. It is the LUNGevity HOPE Summit. If you went, you will be surrounded by lung cancer surviors. The cool thing is that there are grants to pay all travel and hotel expenses for first-time participants.
