Tisha, I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to welcome newcomers to our group! That simple act lets people know that there are others here that understand how they feel, and hopefully gives them a feeling of hope. Your experience of being a survivor for several years is a ray of sunshine for those that are just getting diagnosed, it lets them see that if you can do it, then they can too!

    Thanks again!
    We appreciate you!!

Hi, I'm Bruce. I am new here... colorectal stage IV, diagnosed a couple weeks ago, have a port but haven't started chemo yet. Still awaiting test results to find out exactly what we're dealing with/ trying to prepare myself for bad news while also trying not to worry too much. Hoping to connect with others who are/ have been in a similar situation.

So you are KRAS positive like me. It makes it tougher, butt I'm still not willing to believe in impossible! I am 45. With 2 young daughters and I'm not ready to leave them! There has to be a clinical trial for our mutation out there! Hang in there! <3

Hi! Moffit is in Florida. They have a bad habit of kicking people to the curb.

A lady who used to be active on whatnext gathered up all of her info, found an angelflight and got a second opinion at the Mayo. They did not treat her there but came up with a protocol her local yokel had not thought of and sent aher to someone else within an hour or so of her house.

My X stayed at Hope House ( he lives in Jersey) while treating at Sloan.I have another friend who did the same thing but he wasnt able to make it through a drug trial. I miss him.

Have you ever heard of Hippocrates Health Institute? Give them a call too and see what their doctor has to say. I figure to leave no stone unturned until I find what I need, right?

I did not need to go to MD Anderson because that researcher was so kind. I wound up in Japan with researchers who wanted nothing to do with human trials. But the MD Andersen dude had given me enough information that I was able to impress them enough to have them find a copycat dude, test the product for me. and then to get their protocol and good luck wishes from them along with hints of where else to search for my needs.

They just made pot legal. I know from personal experience that the extract acts as a sort of skin bleach and I have run into people thru Facebook who swear by it.

Glad you are stable. That gives you breathing room to figure your next step.

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/colorectal-colon-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx. Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall. Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
