Isn't it exciting. Did you get the soft silicone with gel on the interior. I wanted the CAMI too but they were on back order. I feel whole again. They look so real. You got to celebrate .. Do something special for yourself.0August 2014

Well this is the second time I trying to send you a message but my internet went down. Hey worried about you. First off its normal to feel like you are right now. We go thru a flurry of activity leading up to our surgery and we never get a chance to think. Then all of a sudden it catches up with us. The trick is not to let it get a hold of us. I have been thru 4 nasty diagnosis and chemo 5xs. I know the feeling of being out of control and alone. I am 65 and divorced. My daughter is grown...fantastic...of course I'm her mother so I will say that. I have my dog Gizmo. She was a rescue dog but I swear she rescued me. I think the trick is kicking yourself and putting a list of things you want to do together and a realistic time frame . Then begin attacking it. I start feeling more in control when I am doing things and better yet when I get them done. I think its taking back my life. I've tried to stay away from pills but sometimes taking something for a short term can help you get over the hurdle. You have a friend here. I told friends and family about this superwoman who went thru a mastectomy without pain. Gosh I envied you. Touch bases with me if you want to talk. This is the great thing about this site...you are not alone. Take care and feel better.0July 2014

I will be thinking about you today as you go through surgery. I hope it goes smoothly and you get the medications you need to be as comfortable as possible. As the anesthesiologist about a block for pain control. Hugs to you!0July 2014

You will be just fine, stage II is just like stage I, curable, be strong. One day you will look back and smile, you will beat that monster.
Your cat will be fine too, leave her enough dry food and water, she will be your nurse when you will be back from the hospital. my prayers for a quick recovery, God is good and you will make it safe and sound my dear, hugs.0July 2014 -

Don't know what it is with us 55 year-olds! I was diagnosed in January and had surgery in February. Keep on your insurance - there are other ways to pay. Let your medical people know this.0June 2014

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
