Just thinking of you. Hope your surgery went smoothly and you're recovering comfortably. Keeping positive thoughts for you that you had negative nodes.0April 2014

I know you have a couple of weeks before your surgery, but, I didn't want the days to blur together as they sometimes do and neglect to wish you good luck on your surgery! I'll be thinking of you and hoping that everything goes smoothly for you. I wish you negative nodes and a speedy recovery ! ! ! : )0April 2014

So how are you making out with your nails? I also wanted to ask you what you and the hubby did to celebrate your last chemo. I'm halfway through and my boyfriend asked me yesterday if I wanted to do something special when done. I've finished the AC and now have 4 Taxols to get through.0March 2014

When is your surgery? Make sure you have some help. I was out of work for four weeks, as I recall. I was alone most of yhe time and only had trouble when my drains clogged up, but it would have been nice to have some help.0February 2014

Saw your question "is Greek yogurt OK?" My answer in a nutshell is "organic only!" The antibiotics and growth hormones in commercial dairy products are no-nos for wellness in general, and especially for breast cancer survivors. Great opportunity here to make sure your food is supporting your cancer-free future!
Blessings,

My hospital had a resource center that had free wigs. Don't know if you have checked with yours? I only wore my wig 2 times. I wore scarves and hats/caps most of the time. I found the wig was just too hot for me. I took the same chemo you are on and think (not sure) I started losing my hair shortly after my 2nd chemo.0January 2014

Rivergal, Welcome to the site. Good luck tomorrow. If you click on experiences and link to ILC you will find a list of members with similar DXs. I had ILC but no chemo, did surgery and Oncotype test. It helps us to communicate if you post your experiences on your wall. Again, welcome and keep us posted.0December 2013

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.
https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/breast-cancer
There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
