Hi Lindyver welcome to the group! The people here are great and it has helpful information. I joined because I didn't know anyone who had what I had and had a hard time understanding what to expect. I'm so glad I joined. I also have CLL and am 58. I have had it for a little over 10 years and have had several different treatments so if I can help please let me know. No matter what I just keep fighting! God bless you and your family on this journey.

Hi, I have CLL, it was stage 1, no treatment, I've had alot of severe stress, & on last test, came back my numbers doubled. So on next test May 22, I'll most likely start treatments. I have list of drugs that they want to try, have you had any severe side effects? And what did you have for treatment? Thanks

I was diagnosed with CLL in Spring 2014, and like you, have not yet begun treatment. The "watchful waiting" makes me a little crazy, when it's time to have labs drawn, but other than that, my CLL doesn't interfere too much with my daily life. It's just "this thing" that's looming out there. Lymphocytes climbing and platelets dropping (both slowly, in my case), and no treatment indicated at this time. I hope that you're managing yours well, and have found good support from family and community. The WhatNext site is a wonderful resource for information, and perhaps finding that you have common experiences or questions as other members. The pinboard is also a great place to photos, recipes, motivation and humor. I wish you well along your journey. Stay strong, and reach out if you need! ~ Carla
