Im using my iPad, I'll get on my laptop and try there. iPads are a little finicky sometimes. Hope you are doing well, when is your next treatment? if all else fails, I'll email you directly. Take care.

Hi...I saw your question about anyone living in the Fort Myers area. I answered but for some reason it disappeared from the screen. Anyway,as I was saying,I moved out of Estero 18 months ago after pancreatic cancer surgery( Moffitt in Tampa) to be near my daughter who lives here in upstate NY. I love my daughter but I HATE it here. I miss Fl. sooo much. I miss the palm trees, the sunny days and especially PUBLIX !!!! You're so lucky to live there. I wish you the best.Take good care, Zoe0July 2013

Hi LeslieJC,
My experience with hair loss: I too was on carbo/taxo, but every 21 days, went thru six treatments. I had thick shoulder length hair, I hoped it would just thin out and not fall out completely. Three weeks after my first treatment, it started falling out, first after shampooing, then just by brushing my hair. I was afraid to touch it. I thought that by not touching it, it would stay with me longer, wishful thinking on my part! I started leaving hair everywhere. I was at work one day, and a coworker saw how upset I was, I showed her a handful of hair, she told me to grab my purse and we left the office. She took me for a long drive, which helped calm me down. I decided that day it had to come off. I called my kids to come over afterwork, told my son to bring his clippers. We opened a bottle of wine and toasted my hair. We sat outside, my daughter with scissors in hand and my son with clippers (he is a Marine, so he keeps his hair short, handy with clippers). my daughter started cutting away, creating different looks, we all laughed. My son then asked if I was ready for my high and tight Marine cut....away went the clippers! That whole experience made loosing my hair so much easier. I don't know if you have already chosen to cut your hair, but I hope you can celebrate that part of your journey with the ones you love. It's been seven months since my last treatment, and just had my third hair cut! The first was to get some shape into it. It grew back dark(almost black) and curly, big curls, not kinky. Still trying to figure out how to deal with curly hair, but it is back, thicker and healthier than before. Short hair is not that bad after all!0July 2013 -
