Ditto what Abrub said, are you seeing an appendix cancer specialist? I was also diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2011 and fortunately, the oncological gynecologist recognized it as appendix cancer when he performed the hysterectomy. I was referred to a specialist, who operated on me. I'm currently in remission, and have scans every 3 months.0January 2016
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Have you been to an appendix cancer specialist? The treatment goes beyond that of standard colon cancer treatment. I'm an 8 year survivor of mucinous adenocarcinoma of the appendix.0November 2015
Hi.Had surgery about 12 days ago. Appendix removed with tumor mucinous adenocarcinoma. Have appoint with doc at Memorial Sloan this week for next step. Wishing you the best.Any advice, thoughts etc greatly appreciated.0November 2015
