Harmony....what a wonderful name. Thank you for your thoughts. A little nervous about the surgery but trying to keep a positive attitude. I see you are just beginning your journey. I wish you well. I'm only a little ahead of you. We can compare notes. Take care!!!

Hi, Harmony! I see you, too, are a New Yorker. Are you at MSKCC? That's where I had my treatment, 15 years ago. In any event, your team sounds great. Best, Carol

Welcome to the site. I have learned a lot about the different types of cancer out there and how each and every individual deals with it in their lives. This place has given me peace because I know I have a place to come to complain, as you have a place to come to sound off or vent, when I am having a particularly rough day. It has helped me to understand myself and the moods I go through which to me is the biggest help of all and you will find it might do the same for you. We all have our moody days when dealing with cancer and the people on this site are so understanding and friendly and you can't find that anywhere else, I believe. You and I have the exact same cancer. I had a double mastectomy after and MRI showed clusters in the left breast. I wonder why they are waiting so long to treat you. I was in that operating room in a month. I hope they start treatment for you soon so the cancer doesn't have a chance to spread. Good luck.

Hi Harmony. Welcome to What Next. There are lots of great people here. If you have any questions, please use the question tab near the top of the pg. That way the entire network will have access and you'll get a quicker response. I'm glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that led you here. Wishing you the best.

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, any questions you may have just post them in the questions tab and everyone will see them there and be able to help you.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/breast-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
