Hi FLGardenGirl, thank you for sharing your experiences and a BIG congratulations on finishing chemo. You and I had a similar chemo treatment. I had both IV and IP chemo too. I first came to WhatNext in 2013 after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I found a great site full of information and support. No one knows what we all go through except another survivor. Please look the site over and ask any questions. I would be happy to chat anytime . Wishing you better days ahead.0August 2018

Hey there! I like your photo - your smile shows how strong you are.
I was originally diagnosed in 2013 at stage IV. The initial treatment was rough but I made it through. My life has changed a lot. Since the original diagnosis, I've had two recurrences and am currently undergoing chemo with Avastin and Topotecan. It's not what I envisioned for my life, but I'm still here and always hopeful.
Please take some time to explore this site and check out the links, resources, Pinboard, and questions pages. The information there is great. The rest of us here are also happy to connect and answer your questions about our cancer journeys and how you can navigate the changes to come.
Best of luck! Hope to hear from you soon.0August 2018 -
Greetings! Welcome to What Next. There are lots of great people here. If you have any questions, please use the question tab above -- that way everyone will have access & you'll get a quicker response. Sounds like you are hanging in there. Congrats on completing chemo -- you had quite a hurdle w/lots of side effects. I hope those clear up for you quickly. I was diagnosed w/endometrial cancer, stage IV, in Aug 2012. Today, I'm NED (no evidence of disease). Hope you hear those 3 little letters at your next appt. I'm glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that led you here. Wishing you all the best.0August 2018

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started with the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx. Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the database to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall. Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
