Hello Carolscheff. Thank you for your hopeful and inspiring email. I finished my chemo about three weeks ago. I was supposed to get 6 carboplatin treatments and only got 5 since I would end up in the hospital for 5 to 6 days afterwards. I've gone from 175 pounds to 107 which isn't good so today I am seeing a GI doctor to see what he can do to help. My surgeon says he may have removed that part of the small bowel that absorbs fat. It's been one hellish journey. My cancer numbers are slowly returning to normal too. Bless your heart, you sound like you're doing great and it's so nice to know a normal life can be had.
