Welcome Carol. You've come to right place. We're here to support you how much or little you need. I had a lumpectomy 16 years ago. God filled the void with fluid & I didn't need reconstructive surgery. Trust your doctors with their knowledge. Things are much different now than in 2006. I went through the chemo & radiation, too. Yes, there are side effects, but most pass or you ignore them like I did. Yes, my life style changed, but for the better.
Please keep us posted as to your progress and journey. I learned so much from this group.
