Bankerpat52, if you aren't able to go to the doctor, please call the American Cancer Society for information on organizations that will help you do that and pay for your medicine. There are many organizations who help patients who are "under-insured" as you are. You need to be able to go to the doctor if you are in pain.

I assume you know that when you turn 65, you will qualify for Medicare which is much cheaper! You should call to enroll several months ahead of time. Best wishes.

You indicated that you are having problems financing your treatment. Have you looked into other ways to finance your treatment. Drug companies often offer a discount to people who cannot pay full price for their medications. I received help from faith-based charities for my medications. The hospital I went to was a faith based hospital and I was charged only a minimal amount. My Medical Center (all my Dr.s are part of the Medical Center) has a financial system that sets up affordable payment plans.
Get in touch with the American Cancer Society. Also the LIVESTRONG Foundation has a list of resources at this site http://www.livestrong.org/we-can-help/insurance-and-financial-assistance/health-care-assistance-for-uninsured/
Praying that you will be pain free
