Hi Sunshine, There is the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, South Carolina Foundation For Ovarian Cancer, Greenville, SC remember Meg Hawes is the Director. I recently connected to Support Connection, the do a live teleconference on the second Wednesday of the month, supporting Ovarian and Breast Cancer patients. It was a really good session this past Wednesday. I do not have all the address but you can find them on FB as well as online. Be sure to sign up for Support Connections Gwen was the facilitator on Wednesday. When I called I talked to Robin and she will give you all the information for the call. Let's stay in touch.
Oh my surgery went well Sept. 11th and I have one more Chemo treatment in Dec. and then I will be on close supervision. The Neulasta shots I have to take this time after Chemo are rough but I put on my big girl panties and pull them up hard in the back and say come on lets go....lol

Oh I am so sorry. I joined a group called Chemo Angel and they assigned me two angels that we communicate through the snail mail system and they are absolutely WONDERFUL! They didn't know me and I haven't meet them, One lives in MN and the other in Vegas and I am in TN. But I know that they both listen and support me which is wonderful. I have family and friends here but with my Angels I feel I can say anything to them and one they don't feel sorry for me or want to shield me which is what I see with family. Give them a try.

I cannot understand how hospital an doctors can call asking for their money, when you tell them u can only pay a certain much. Next thing you know your sent to collection. Washington need to take charge of this an help us out like the ones that get help from the state. Good luck
