I am also diagnosed with CLL. I AM 70 YEARS OLD AND AM NOT BEING TREATED YET, ONLY MONITORED. I have two swollen lymph nodes in the exterior rear of my abdomen but they have remained the same for 3 years now. I have a slightly elevated wbc, just over the limit to diagnose. I also have some chromosomal changes which my oncologist says are beneficial against the disease and a strong immune system. I don't understand about the chromosomes. I have no symptoms that I can trace to CLL, alt b oigh I have several other serious conditions. I think I am very lucky because none of these conditions have altered my life and I don't have pain except in the winter from arthritis and tylenol helps me with that. I wish that everyone could be without pain too. I feel positive about my CLL. I was very surprised at the diagnosis and I notice no difference in how I feel now. I probably will die someday from another condition of mine.0March 2015
