Thank you russh. I have read some about cyberknife. I did ask my first urologist about it, and he said he was still skeptical about it because of the high doses involved. I have no idea if that's a valid point or not. He's an older guy, and the truth is I feel like he pushed me toward targeted radiation all along. The radiation outfit they sent me to is a business partner of theirs, and that's making me question everything more than I might have otherwise. I have an appointment with another radiation oncologist this Friday, and I believe cyberknife is one of their options. Glad to hear that things have worked out well reasonably well for you so far.

Thank you russh. I don't have a clue how this site works yet. I am currently pursuing second opinions. My urologist who found this wants me to have targeted radiation (IGRT they call it). I am probably okay with that, but I don't like feeling pressured. Two other doctors have said I may be an "okay" candidate for active surveillance, but my urologist won't hear of it. I don't like it either, but at least I feel like I have some time to get other opinions.
