Thank you so much for the help and advice. This is all new to me so whatever info I can get is so helpful. Also anything I can do for my mom helps me, she has enough going on to worry about how to pay for treatment. Thank you so much!

Welcome to WhatNext Moonbeam!!! Here we are you're 68 - I'm 69... I was diagnosed in January of 2006 with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer. I had a Newly 'ordained' Gynecelogic Oncology Surgeon (looked like Doogie Houser) save my life also. We had no trouble finding my tumor (39 lb right ovary)... It had spread to my intestine and eurethea... I know it sounds stupid, but I really just thought I was getting fat. He removed all the cancer he could see and it turned out when we looked at PET scan.. He got it all..... I had others along the chemo trail.. and one again a month or two ago... Still cancer free. Thank God we have specialty available to all now. ANYWAY.. Its still a cancer free scan. Thank God, Good Doctors and a wonderful team of chemo techs and nurses! We're living proof.. IT CAN BE DONE!!!!

Hi Nancy! Welcome to WhatNext. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in January of 2006. I asked God to lead me to where He wanted me to be. He has led me here almost 7 years later and cancer free. Tumor was 39 lb. Surgery was great for my waistline... but I think I'll cut calories from now on.
