Kiki, I'm in a similiar situation with my mother. I found out she is in stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It is difficult to go through a time like this. We all need someone to talk to. Let's use each other as a resource as our parents go through this long journey.

Hi KIKI, welcome to the site, let us know if you have any questions about what your dad is going to go through. And good luck with the next PET scan. I found I got real attached to the PET Scan. They were my friend!
My father had cancer too, actually his started in prostate, mets. to bladder, lungs, bones, also lost my mother to lung cancer, so I know where you are, it's a terrible thing to have to go through, even harder than me having fought it 3 times.
There are quite a few caregivers on the site, if you have questions, please ask, lots of great people here to help.
Wish you and Dad the best!
