Sounds like your world is wavering just a tad. Deepest sorries ... Have the docs actually ever found the primary tumor? I've two male friends who actually had (similar) diagnosis. One living close to me actually had to fly from Floriduh up to Boston to see a really good doc who found the primary tumor while the duds in Floriduh could not. As it turned out the Boston guy told him not to worry but you've been through surgery and they, it seems, called you clear when you were not.

My teeth ... sigh .. I went from a smile worth a million buckaroos to one which can occasionally light a room with a spot light on it.

Be of good cheer. You are alive. What are you doing to help your doctors help you & become cancer free?

Hi dancow1; Read your profile .. please ask your doc about "nigella sativa". Look it up first, please. There have been over 60 peer reviewed studies done on it and it appears to be quite good at shrinking tumors. The docs complain, however, that it might make your immune system too strong for chemotherapy ... just a thought .. hope all is better with you

Did they not do a neck-ectomy the first time? Just found out my husband has this a couple of weeks ago. They said to defiantly do a neck-ectomy because it can move so quickly. Nothing shows in his neck on the pet scan ether, but better safe than sorry. He is high risk for surgery because of his heart, so they only want to operate 1 time.
