Hi Cindy, thanks for your response regarding the ileostomy. I hope you don't mind if I ask you some questions. I could us a friend as I am so scared of this procedure. Can you tell me what your recovery was like? Did you have surgery laparoscopically? Anything else you think can help? Thanks for your support.0December 2013

Hi Cindy, You ask me to let you know if I had been able to gain back any weight. I have managed to put on 3lbs in the last week. Not much but I will take it. I have found that pasta, pasta, pasta seems to be the right answer for me. I like it anyway, and it sets well with my insides too. Let me know how you are doing.

Thanks cindywho, I'm trying to stay positive and maybe when my treatment starts tomorrow, it will be easier for me to digest. Still in shock and denial but need to find my fighting gloves. Congrats on surviving this cancer you give me hope. Best wishes to you for a cancer free life from here on.0September 2013

Hi Cindy,
I saw your message to Crazy Harry, and realized your journey is similar to mine. I was diagnosed Stage 3A at 49, did 6 weeks of chemo/radiation pre-surgery, wore "oscar" for 6 months & then reversal. I am now at 21/2 years from diagnoses & still feel great, with minimal issues. I was pleased to hear you are 4 years out & still feeling fine - that gives me hope!0March 2013 -
