Welcome! Colon cancer is nasty. I had no symptoms and skipped one year. A health seminar attendee pushed me for a test. She forced me to promise I would get tested. I had that rude surprise that cancer was in there. For me, a removal of 2 bad lymph nodes followed by Folfox chemo did remove cancer. Folfox lasted for six months. I was told the CT Scans detect cancer as large as a grain of rice. I imagine lymph nodes are how it spreads. If you go on chemo, get some ginger candy to combat nausea, and eat simple carbs like white bread, rice. etc. Do you know if it went to your liver?

I am sorry you have joined our club, but WhatNext is a great way to communicate with others who have been diagnosed with the same type of cancer. I was diagnosed at age 50 with Stage IIIC back in February 2019 (no family history, no symptoms). I had resection surgery and went through 6 months of chemo. Don't hesitate to ask any questions or share concerns you may have.
