I just saw some of your posts for the first time today. I hope you are starting to feel a little bit less down by now. Thank you for your honesty. It is very refreshing to me.0December 2014

Don't laugh about walking around the house for exercise. My sister combined healthy eating and walking around her house (she does laps) and so far, she's lost 50 lbs. since New Year's Day!0March 2013

Dear pattiep,
You're most welcome for the list-it was nothing for me to research that once I found out where in CT you are (I'm in NYC). I just want you to have the easiest possible time getting through your chemo. Please feel free to keep in touch and email me.
Warm wishes,

I was trying to leave comments on our journey posts, but the system is being wonky today. I am so sorry your port insertion was painful, mine was not. I did not have a port inserted until I was on infusion therapy for 3 months. My last treatment before the port was so painful, my veins were rolling and we needed 3 tries to find one.
As for you sense of humor - I've lost mine several times in the last 3.75 years. If this last more then a 2 weeks, it may be a sign of depression, and you may want to speak with a therapist that specializes in treating people under going chemo.
Hugs, healing vibes and prayers.0March 2013 -

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, any questions you may have just post them in the questions tab and everyone will see them there and be able to help you.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
