Hi! Thanks for the message. This is such a strange cancer. Almost everything *I thought* I knew about cancer isn't true for Lymphoma. I thought once it was in the lymph nodes you were done. Now I'm told it can be managed, like diabetes??!! I guess I understand that, but it's still Cancer, and Chemo is still Chemo, right? I understand that the treatment's are more targeted now and are much better than they were 40 years ago when my Mother died from Cancer.

I understand your anxiety. I've always been such a high anxiety person, I've taught myself over the years that the worst thing I imagine isn't always what comes true. Usually. Until they told me I have Cancer. How devastating. But, hey, if I have to have it i guess this is the one to have. I wasn't told I only have a few days to live and things certainly could be much worse. The 2 biggest things getting me through this is my weird sense of humor and knowing that things could be much worse which keeps me grateful. I mean, I could have been born in the Middle East or been a kid who stepped on a land mine or something! In the big scheme of things, I've had it pretty good. I'm still scared crapless about my upcoming treatment though. How did you feel after the Rituxan? I'll be having some of that on the 21st. Followed up by two days of Treandra. Yay. I found this website yesterday when I googled those 2 drugs. It was a good find!

Hang in there! Here's hoping you'll be watching and waiting for a long time!

I have DLBCL and relapsed about a year later. I just finished my last treatment of Rituxin and Treanda (Bendamustine) in December and will be getting a PET scan later this month. Wishing you well on your journey ...

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/non-hodgkin-lymphoma-nhl

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend

David asked me to help you find some people with your diagnosis. I done a search on the site and find several hundred people with DLBC Non Hodgkins, unfortunately the system doesn't break down those that are in relapse. You will have to read through some of these. Another option, that will get some answers fairly quick is to post a question on the questions page asking for what you are looking for, all those in the NHL community will be notified and you may be best there. Here is the link to the search I done>> https://www.whatnext.com/search/users?search[filters][class][]=Diagnosis&search[filters][condition_path]=266
